Smoke Customer Intelligence announces HIPAA Compliance

Smoke Customer Intelligence, a Voice of the Customer software provider, today announced Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance. This further proves Smoke CI’s commitment to protecting its customers’ data and ensuring that its solutions meet data protection regulations.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 is a U.S. federal law meant to safeguard sensitive electronic protected health information (ePHI). HIPAA compliance requires any entity that deals with ePHI to have the necessary security policies and procedures in place, which include physical, network, and process measures, to protect sensitive data. Smoke CI has implemented the appropriate safeguards to manage information privacy and information security and compliance to HIPAA legislation.
